How to contact Lagunamar about exchange?

NOT a convection oven

We are presently ending our week at the Westin Lagunamar. The oven above the cooktop is NOT a microwave/convection oven. It is a microwave oven that incorporates g2Max® SpeedCook Technology (Quartz and halogen light technology), not a true convection oven. Since there is not a regular oven below the cooktop, it is a shame that the original design did not include the upgraded microwave/convection combination. One wonders if the designers sought out the opinions of prospective owners and realized that very little cooking would be done in the units OR did someone simply make a decision based on the price of the Whirlpool Gold® Microwave Hood SpeedCook Oven vs. the more expensive Whirlpool Gold® Velos® SpeedCook Oven with Convection Cooking? In any case, for those of us who do use a regular oven during our stays in timeshare units, it is a major inconvenience.

We have an exchange beginning 10/10 and I'd like to contact the resort. I just talked to Starwood and they don't have an email and 800 number for contacting the resort so I thought you all might have an idea.

We actually have two exchanges for a 1br and a studio with supposedly adjacent room numbers. I want to make sure that we actually get assigned to adjoining rooms so that we can reconnect the 2br unit.

Will Lagunamar give us the rooms on our reservation or should I be worried?

Deb

Just call owner services, explain that you have family travelling with small children and it is important that they handle the room assignments in a manner that puts the two rooms adjacent....they should be able to handle the room assignments from there.

Deb checked in on 10/10 and checked out on yesterday.... ;)

In an earlier post in this thread, she did report that she got adjacent units.

i have the double l/o and will be going with another couple so we would like the doors to the 2 br l/o closed and separate keys for each room. can i handle this when i check-in or should i call starwood(even though it is an II exchange)?

the water, fruits and veggies are fine?
