How to carry over Sheraton Flex options

Hi! If I want to carry over some unused Sheraton Flex options to the next year is there a fee and what is the cutoff deadline for doing that?

Are you retail or resale?
 
There is no banking fee if they are in VSN. Deadline for most is June 30th of the use year. RealiZe you are banking StarOptions and you will only be able to use them for reservations eight months out.

This is if you are a retail owner. I think you can bank till the end of the year, but starting 2025 it will depend on your ownership level (Owner-end June/select- end June/executive - end August /presidential - end August/chairman - end October).

If you are resale you cannot convert to Staroptions and the only way to save them is to bank them into II. There was no fee when I owned resale, that I can remember. You can bank till the end of the year into II. If you do not have enough for a reservation you can add the following year or bank again. Points are good for 2 years in II.

* 4* and 5* eac had different banking deadlines. Non elite VSN members could only bank till July 1st. That is now June 30th.

I was never in VSN before Marriott took over. Thanks. That deadline will change come 2025 though.
I guess if you miss the deadline you could still bank into II right up to December 31st. If it does not fall on a weekend. HomeOptions can be used anytime right before the day of check in and I think that enables you to bank up to the last minute. You can also bank any amount into II.

The banking deadline changed for 2023. I beleive the only thing regarding 2025 is how long the banked points are good for. They are currently banked for 24 months, starting in 2025, they will be banked for 12-24 months depending on status. Depositing into II is different and does have different deadlines than banking SOs.
