How restaurants might reopen

A friend of mine worked as a waitress for years. She thinks those in food service should always have been required to wear masks.

I worked in kitchen during HS & college. Yes, that was over half a century ago. Dishes that were ready for the table were delivered by wait staff. I remember seeing the cooks sneeze while preparing dishes. I remember wait staff coughing while carrying dishes to customers. I also remember being grossed out when seeing such. I always prepared my own meal as a result.
