How often can one do a MVC Sales presentation ?

Question? How do you folks as fluent in the MVC dialect go to a presentation and let the sales staff speak in a different tongue and flat out lie without getting confrontational?
I sit in my hands. When I start to pull them l out, that means I’m about to open my mouth, so I tuck them back in

I try to be polite and let them know immediately that I know more than they do. Some salespeople get so pissed and they would walk off and count down to 90 minutes before sending the "gifting" people back, while others want to learn from me. The latter group would usually say we should switch chairs so that I could teach them.

I don't go because I'm pretty sure I'd end up cussing and maybe throwing things. ;)

My worst experience wasn't during a presentation; it was with the headhunter in the lobby at Timber Lodge at Lake Tahoe who just would not take "no" for an answer. I finally pulled up the TUG Points FAQ on my phone and asked him if he knew more than what was in the FAQ. When he answered no I told him I wrote it and knew without a doubt that I had no need to buy Trust Points, and he finally let us be on our way. It was the only time I ever felt like I was acting like a DYKWIA sleazebucket in the vicinity of a front desk, but nothing else had worked and the guy was just escalating the situation beyond reason. Later that afternoon I nicely let the GM know what I thought of the whole experience.

It varies with my mood and the specifics of the untruth's or half truth's involved. About half the time I'll question what they say if it's egregious. But the thing that get's me isn't as much untruth's as much as bullying and inappropriate behavior. I am very intolerant of those and have gotten far more vocal when those issues arise. I've also gotten to where I tell them upfront that putting me with a pushy person or someone who isn't very knowledgeable isn't going to go well.
