How much is gasoline in your area?

Regular 87 octane is about $3.60 at Costco. It definitely seems high considering some of the prices I see on this thread.

Bill

Depends on where the station is, here north of Houston. $2.49 at the several stations near our grocery, $2.29 at Sam's and Costco, about 10 miles away. Much better than the $4.49 and higher we saw on the BI in Hawaii last week.

Regular gas at Costco..Npt News warehouse $2.74 per gal
Regular gas at Exxon ..Chesapeake,Va $2.92 per gal

Regular gas at Costco, Myrtle Beach, SC….$2.45. Gassed up, got into Costco for 9 am early opening, out of store by 10:10. With no impulse purchases . (I avoided the Christmas displays). A good morning. Oh…and 5 dozen eggs for $9.99. Last year would have been close to $50. Already had a few dozen in the fridge, so didn’t buy. Got some reasonable bottles of white wine.

Current prices vary a bit here in Toronto, depending upon brand and location, but at my local Petro-Canada station today, regular (87 octane) gas was $1.33.9 CAD per litre. That works out to ($1.33.9 x 3.785 =) $5.06.8 CAD per US gallon. Converted to US dollars, that equals $3.55 USD per US gallon.

Still $5.89 a gallon for Regular Unleaded here on Molokai. It hasn't changed in a couple years now. 🤙🏻

Yes $3.55 USD for an American visiting Toronto but for a Canadian is still $5.06 CAD and $5.06 CAD for a Canadian is more than $5.06 USD for an American because if an American earns $100k USD, a Canadian will earn less than $100k CAD for the same job in general.
