Hello.

Really curious. After paying GC expense to II every time I give away my TS unit to my sister, parents, uncle, and other relatives, wouldn't it be better to just put them all to my timeshare account and deed I buy another TS next time or even to the existing one? Is there a limit on number of people you can add to a deed or TS account? TIA.

I can't speak to the "limit" part of your question, but I recall from past post that the names on the II account have to match the deed. So if you have multiple TSs -- and the names do not match -- you will need separate II accounts.

Another advantage (besides GC) is if the resort allows "daily passes" to owners.

You certainly would want to be careful about putting "extra" names on a deed just for this purpose, IMO. Never know what lies down the road of life....

(BTW, I have 4 names on my deed....)

Just an FYI, RCI allows you to put up to 7 people on your account so you wouldn't have to pay for a GC.

BUT II is very strick about who they will put on your account. If you own one TS and you and your spouse own one TS, II will make you have 2 seperate II accounts.

Check both with your resort and your exchange company.. Often, it will depend on how their database systems hold info. If your deed shows more names than they can enter- you'll still have the same problems with reservation procedures- plus it will make a nightmare scenario when you need to sell or if one of the "deeded owners" passes away.

I would strongly recommend you really think this over before taking this step!

RCI Points, weeks or both? Thought weeks limited to 2.
