How easy is it to exchange into Four Seasons Aviara

How easy is it to trade into Four Season Aviara on Interval International? Is it worth being an owner here or is it easy enough to get it as an exchange? Are there any benefits to being part of the Four Seasons Residence Club?

It's not all that difficult if you have the trade power for it and are willing to accept off-season weeks. Prime summer weeks are pretty much non-existent. Unless you've stayed there and really loved it, I wouldn't buy there. The maintenance fees are very steep and the location isn't for everyone.

I recall that the annual MF on a 2 BR was somewhere in the neighborhood of $2500. So, unless you wanted to use it every year, if you exchanged somewhere else, you may be trading down. Benefits? I think that owners can bring their dog.

In years past, there have been plentiful weeks in II for Fall, Winter and Spring. Since this last Fall, however, I've only seen a handful of studios, and the occasional larger unit. Something changed this year.
