I pronounce it "eye-yearn."

Same here, 'eye-yearn.' Though I don't in any way whatsoever yearn for an iron.

My mom and her family lived in Arkansas, and I helped my aunt (who was legally blind) set up her phone recognition service. I gave her a bad time about 'four.' She pronounced it 'For-wore' in the recording.

Yes, I-run is a colloquialism (sp?) in some places -- where naybors might also call it an "ahrrn" (slightly like a pirate maht do). It's a four-letter word with multiple pronounciations. (tho maybe not as many as "oil").

Reminds me of when I was telling my wife about a house for sale on elum street. Having never heard of it, she was somewhat confused until I driover her by the street sign, whereupon she asked how I got two syllabels out of a three letter word (Elm).
