How do You Like Your Chicken Wings?

Naked and sauced. The hotter the better and a little blue cheese or some ranch sauce on the side.

Our whole family agrees--Hooters, drums only with medium sauce. Many times I get an order to go--at least a batch of 50 and reheat on my stone. Taste just like they came out of the hopper.

Thats the first time I ever heard anyone say they actually like Hooters for the wings. ;)

Every Sunday during football season it's deep fried wings dipped in our favorite sauce: Equal parts Frank's Red Hot Sauce, Cattleman's Barbeque Sauce and butter. Bleu Cheese Dressing and celery on the side. :)

And when you run out of chicken wings try these. :)

SPICY BUFFALO CHICKEN MEATBALLS

1 pound ground white meat (I am sure you can use turkey instead)
1/2 small onion, grated
2 cloves garlic, grated
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
salt and fresh ground black pepper
1/2 cup hot sauce

DIRECTIONS:

preheat oven to 400

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, onionk, garlic, parsley, paprika, and cayenne. Season with salt and pepper.
Take 2 TBSP of meat mixture and roll between the palms of your hand to form a meatball about the size of a golf ball.
Place meatballs on a rimmed baking sheet lightly coated with cooking spray. Pop them in the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes or until they are cooked through.
While the meatballs are baking, heat the hot sauce in a large skillet. Toss the baked meatballs in the hot sauce to coat.
Serve the balls with celery and carrot sticks and some blue cheese dressing for dipping

Makes 16 meatballs

I like mine still attached to chickens on Kauai! :D

I'm with the I don't eat chicken wings group. Although I eat a lot of chicken.

Do you have a defibrillator on hand? :D :D

I found something quite good and quick to make. Pilgram's Pride Blazin Wings fried and then tossed in Frank's Redhot Buffalo Wing sauce. The wings are coated in a spicy breading. They are actually quite tasty and then adding the hot sauce makes them great. Nice and hot! I can only handle six wings at most before I have to stop.
