How do I get invited to Marriott vacation demo!

Recently we were invited by a close family member to attend HGVC talk. We stayed for 3 nights in Orlando and attended the talk. We liked the idea of timeshare but want to explore Marriott too before buying it.

We don't know anybody in Marriott vacation club. Is there anyway we can get invited to attend their presentation?

We were stranded by the airline on Saturday on our way back from Mexico. I called Marriott to book a room at the airport. After I got the reservation, the representative said "Do you have time to talk to a Marriott Vacation Club Representative to hear about their vacation getaways?" I said no thanks but apparently the general Marriott 800 number is being used to sell the trips.
 
That's how I first heard about the points for weeks offer a few months ago. From the 1-800 Marriott hotel number.
The rep knew about it. He didn't understand it but would have gotten credit if I had talked to the next person he would transfer me to (a salesperson presumably)
 
You're right. The Marriott Rep chuckled when he ask me if I wanted to hear about the timeshare packages. He clearly didn't know what it was all about.
