How can you determine TPU...

I'd love to know which location this is. Sorry, but those numbers don't seem legit...

Sorry, kinda rub me the wrong way the way you worded things. If you don't know, ask to learn, not a problem, but don't question legitimacy until you know. Answer on resort is in my above previous post. If you search on that resort, you will see others have posted the same thing, that this resort that is an AWESOME RCI TPU trader. Over the years, I found a few other resorts with great TPU trading power, even slightly better in terms of MF dues / TPUs received, but I don't need anymore TPUs as I am approaching almost 300 TPUs leftover in combined trading power.

My problem is although I can travel any time of the year, and can go in season for higher TPU's, yet, I can't resist the deals when resorts are on sale in RCI for only like 9 to 12 TPU's, so I easily get 3-7 weeks for one my 1 week. I taken 12 weeks of vacations in about 6 years from this RCI Trader, and still have a boatload of TPU's left over right now. Sadly, I don't have enough vacation time each year, so I will need to start trading for higher value TPU resorts and stop looking for "deals", since I am quickly learning that I am forever paying RCI combine and TPU extension fees.

You just need to get the right unit, as the wrong unit won't get you very many TPUs at all, even at this same resort.

I must be grumpy today. Sorry for the negative post. In looking at the TPU calculator I see a max of 39 for 1 BR and 43 for 2 BR. A great value splitting up the 3 BR lookoff which that have at 47. Congrats!

No problem Mongoose. Try looking at Christmas and New Years weeks, it might have gone down some since I haven't looked at it for a while, I guess I find out when I go do a deposit later this month.

Would someone be willing to check a week for me? I've never been a member of RCI, only II (and I've been happy with my trades). But, would love the RCI inventory too if there was potential value.

Colonies at Williamsburg, week 24. 4bd lockoff. Can be a 4bd or lockoff into 2, 2bd.

thanks.

19 for each 2 BR or 22 for a single 4 BR deposit. Yes you can deposit each side separately.

Can someone help me to determine the value of a fixed week 7 and a fixed week 4 at the Grandview in Vegas? Both units are 2 bedroom lock off units according to the listing. I just am trying to get an idea of how valuable these could be to trade, since I'd be looking to probably mix between using it and trading it from time to time.

grandview in weeks usually isn't that great of a trader.
Currently (tpu's can change)
Week 7- 19 tpu's for full unit or 17 tpu's X 2 if you deposit as 2 one bedrooms
Week 4 - 15 tpu's for full unit or 14 tpu's X 2

Hi, can you tell me if the trading power is high for week 52, 2 bedroom lock out at Grandview Las Vegas? I am wondering if I don’t go every year and decide to trade it in to go to another resort, if that week would be popular enough for me to get something else. Thank you!

28 for a 2 BR in 2022 week 52 or 26 for each of the 2 sides.

But it is also above the mean average. I wouldn't say that means 26 is great but it does mean that you should be able to exchange into 3/4's of the available rci current inventory for 2 exchanges or into all of it if you pay to combine. RCI is bottom heavy with the less desirable trades.

Sorry, is that considered good or bad?

Week 52 is weird in 2022 mainly, since 2022 has 53 weeks (anomaly), making Week 52 falls on Christmas instead of New Years. News Years week in Vegas will get the most TPU's, so it should be higher TPU's in 2023 and many of the other years that doesn't have the 53rd week.

Edit To Add: I guess I was wrong, in checking, it looks like even week 53 has the same TPU's as week 52. 26 + 26 = 52 TPU's isn't bad, but not the best available if you are looking for a unit to mainly trade, but if you mainly plan to use in Vegas, that's most important and where the value is.

In my view, 26 for a one bedroom is very good.
