Wondering how rainy/windy it's been with the storms. We're heading to Harborside Sunday the 14th for a week. Heard today there are 4 named storms in the wings. Yikes! I hope it doesn't rain constantly!

At this point it sounds like constant rain shouldn't be my worry! Whether or not we can even go is the real question.

Just got back from a week at Harborside. During the week we received some outer bands of Gustav which gave strong downpours with sunny periods on one day. Hannah brought very strong winds on Wed. the 3rd, keeping you out of the water on the beaches. Thurs. made even going on the beaches an adventure and I didn't see anyone venture there. We were over at the One and Only and watching the surf was a spectacular view. Friday morning we were downtown Nassau and almost all retailers were open but busy preparing or Ike. When checking out Friday, we heard some folks arriving that were very upset that the resort planned to move all Harborside/Paradise Island guests into the convention center on Sunday a.m. until Ike passed - I don't know if Ike's more southern route would have changed those plans.
