How about no more COVID19, Masks, Social Distancing, etc.

I’m glad they got closed down. There are plenty of other places to talk about that stuff. People can always have private conversations with TUG friends too. Heck, they can even invite enemies to join in. :)

That's certainly one way. It seems some simply can't have an adult discussion about disagreements without it turning ugly, so to speak. There is nothing wrong with intellectual differences as long as those differences remain confined to intellectual debates. Can't we disagree with people and debate issues without engaging in personal destruction?

The evidence in the threads say “no”.

Two threads were shut down yesterday by the Moderators because of ongoing violations of TUG Rules.

I regularly look in on about four or five newspapers daily, yet I still have found some valuable information about coVid19 on TUG that I would have missed.

As far as the frustration that some of you are feeling, I understand. Instead of calling for a complete shutdown on coVid19, it would be nice if people were to learn to just make one post on a topic and then move on. As an example, just look at the repetitive posts in this and the companion thread.
