My daughter just told me that someone told her about Hot Springs, NC. Does anyone know anything about this area and are there any timeshares nearby?

I've been there (stayed at Elmer Hall's Sunnybank Inn) many years ago - it's NW of Asheville, not too far from the TN border, near the French Broad River I think. It was too long ago for me to give good detailed info about the area and I don't know of any RCI timeshares in the immediate area, but you could look at Alpine Village in Burnsville, Crowne Plaza in Asheville, Peppertree Maggie Valley, Foxrun at Lake Lure, or even Laurel Springs Resort in Cosby TN if you wanted to make a day trip to Hot Springs. (I didn't check GA to see what might be close enough, if anything.)

The resorts in Boone (Blue Ridge Village, etc.) might not be too far either. Exactly one year ago this week I was sitting in a riverside tub in Hot Springs....it was heaven! ;)
