Do any of the big hotels have check out day complimentary hospitality rooms available. We have to hang out late in the day as our flight does not leave till 9PM.. so trying to decide if we have to rent a room for the day or if any of the hotels have a comp hospitality room where one can shower and change.

You didn't say where you were actually staying prior to needing the hospitality suite. Many timeshares have locker rooms, towels, and showers available for checked-out guests leaving on late flights. The Point at Poipu has one near the pool and we use it on every trip. We can spend the last day touring or hanging out at the pool or a beach then come back, shower and change into traveling clothes.

PS; at Poipu you have to leave a credit card with the desk until you return the key.

The big hotels do, yes. I'd call them up and check. The one I used at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider (now Westin I believe) was usage for 1 hour, no reservations, first come, first serve. Our bags were behind the front desk, they took them to the room for us. No deposit, nothing like that. At 15 mins till, we got a call stating just that. And off we went.

Hilton Hawaiian Village does. But it's best to make a reservation for it when you check-out.

This is a wonderful service. There's nothing like driving around the island and getting in one last swim. Then you get to take a nice hot shower before flying back. I always sleep so much better when I'm nice and clean on the plane ride home.

Pono Kai is not a large resort but does have a nice hospitality room available for guests. Includes luggage storage, refrigerator, shower, tv, and small book library for reading prior to your flight home.

This room can be used by all quests leaving that day so it can become crowded.

What about the Marriott or Hilton?

Marriott Maui Ocean Club offered such a facility when were there in 2007. No reservations were required.

sorry I was asking about Marriott or Hilton in Kauai

The Marriott Kauai Beach Club offers a Mens&Womens hospitality room for guests with late flights. Did not use it on our last stay but say several people who did.

We used the hospitality suite at the Marriott Kaui when we were there last summer. It is basically a locker room with a full bathroom. There are towels, soap, shampoo, etc. and lockers to put your stuff in. There are separate rooms for men and women.

Thanks all that is perfect as we have decided to stay at the Marriott that last day and our flight does not go out till 9:30 PM so would like to just hang out and use the facilities and then take the shuttle to the airport (we will drop our car off the night before to save time)
