Holiday Reservation allowed at Grand Mayan?

Good morning. I have a question I'm hoping someone will know the answer to. We are owners at the Grand Mayan. Because my son is still in school, we need to schedule our vacations around school vacations. In 2007, Easter is on Sunday, April 8th. Our school district's vaction is the first week in April, the 2nd through the 6th. My question is, would we be allowed to use our week for spring break, checking in on Saturday, March 31st and out on Saturday, April 7th, which is the day before Easter. The type of ownership we have does not allow us holidays. I'm not sure, but I thought I read somewhere that that also includes the week before and after holiday.

If anyone can clarify this, I would appreciate it!

HI Kim,

I know that Easter floats on different days from year to year. I see that many of the Mayan Palace resorts restrict visits to any days except holidays.

Your best bet would be to contact your resort group directly. I say this because they will have the interpretation of the restrictions best, and if you want a quick answer this might be your direct route.
 
If you don't own a Holiday week, you can't reserve Christmas, New Year's, Holy Week (the week before Easter) and Easter week. So you would not be able to reserve the week of 3/31-4/7.
