We have 275 points leftover from enrolling, etc. This is not enough for us to drive over to Boston for night before 12/31, and not worth us schlepping to Fairway Villas again. Does anyone know if we can use these at any Marriott hotels - or how we would find this info? We can always roll down the Thruway to NYC for a night, or even give our kids a night where they would like to go. Probably no hope - but heck, they were *free* anyway (and please skip the "Oh, you PAID for them alright, when you enrolled . . " we know all that.)

I assume your left over points are the Bonus Points you reveived for enrolling your weeks in the DC. If that is the case, they can only be used at a Marriott hotel if you can find the hotel in the explorer collection. Last time I looked all those packages were more than 1 night and alot more than 275 points. If you can't use them yourself, you could make a reservation for someone else. You cannot transfer or bank them if they are your Bonus points.

Could you use 250 of the points to buy the travel protection? Not sure if you can use PlusPoints for that, but worth looking in to. At least you could get some value out of them.
