Hi Guys, I am trying to cancel the contract as well. I can not find the revocation paper as ucfgavin mentioned. I can not seem to find the revocation paper though. Does anyone have an idea of how it looks?

If you are within your rescission period, you don't need any special form to let them know you want to rescind the purchase. A simple letter will do. Just state that you are exercising your right to rescind your purchase on whatever date it was. Be sure everyone who signed the contract signs the rescission letter. You can include a copy of the first page of your purchase agreement showing the date, names of the parties, and any other pertinent information.

The crucial part of your rescission is that you have proof you mailed it in time. Send it by certified mail and keep the receipt from the post office, as well as a copy of everything you send. The date you mail it is key and the date they receive it has no bearing on your rescission.
