Hilton Barbados

We are back from our trip to Barbados. We arrived in Barbados late in the evening of October 29, 2010 to greet Hurricane Thomas. We spent that evening at the Hilton Barbados before leaving in the afternoon of October 30th for the Residences at the Crane. The Hilton Barbados is actually a first class hotel and we were very comfortable despite the hurricane. We were given a HHonors gold upgrade to the executive floor. Breakfast was excellent. However, walking around the open lobby was difficult due to the wind and the rain. The staff was very helpful. The Hilton Barbados seems to be an excellent resort destination in its own right. It would certainly be worth your while to use a Going Global Redemption for week at this beautiful resort. This is a photo from the open lobby that reveals the power of Hurricane Thomas.
