We are looking to rescind our HICV and we cannot find the page where it says what all we need to include in the letter to cancel. I see where it says what information is needed for cancellation. All I can find is it saying:
As fully set forth in the Florida Public Offering Statement, Florida law provides that you may cancel the Purchase Agreement for the purchase of an Interest in Orange Lake Land Trust, without any penalty or obligation, within ten (10) calendar days after the date you sign the Purchase Agreement. Similarly, Tennessee law provides that you may cancel the Purchase Agreement for the purchase of an Interest in Orange Lake Land Trust within ten (10) days from the date of the signing of the Purchase Agreement where you have made an on-site inspection of the timeshare project or any component site prior to signing the Purchase Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing sentence, however, in the event you have not made an on-site inspection of any portion of any component site of Orange Lake Land Trust, a nonspecific multisite timeshare plan, prior to signing the Purchase Agreement, you may cancel the Purchase Agreement for the purchase of an Interest in Orange Lake Land Trust within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date you sign the Purchase Agreement. If you elect to cancel, you may do so by: (i) hand delivering notice of cancellation to the other party at 9271 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32819 within the designated period for voiding the Purchase Agreement; or (ii) mailing notice of cancellation by prepaid United Stated mail at 9271 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32819 within the designated period for voiding the Purchase Agreement to the other party or to the other party’s agent for service of process; or (iii) sending notice of cancellation via electronic mail at Cancellations@holidayinnclub.com time stamped within the designated period for voiding the Purchase Agreement to the other party.

It sounds like you need immediate attention - it would be wise to post in the HICV section also.

Your letter just needs to include your intent to cancel along with some reference to the contract, such as your contract number. The letter should be signed by everyone that signed the contract. Including a copy of the first and signature page of the contract is also a good idea. Since they provided an email address, it is best to email it and then also send a first class letter (regular stamp) with a Certificate of Mailing. The Certificate of Mailing is proof that something was sent from an address and to an address and is physically postmarked by the postal employee and given to you to retain.

We are also wanting to rescind our new membership as we are within the 10-day right to cancel period. We signed up for a 0% interest loan with a downpayment of $10,975 with the balance to be paid over the next 12 months (Total purchase price was $27,900.) The charge on the credit card was to "HICV CAPTIAL MGMT MAIN". So would we need to do anything different than stated above since there is a financing company apparently involved? Thank you!

follow the directions in your signed sales contract to the letter. doing so reverts everything including any downpayment or financing agreement you made.

congrats on saving 28k!
