According to the club rules; HGVClub Legacy Members, HGV Max Legacy members, select HGV Max Members (Premier + and Centum), and owners at certain properties have the option of annual HH conversion but new Max owners, after April 4th, 2022, only have the option of EOY HH conversion. With this information, where would a new owner who bought into HGVC/HC via the resale market land? They are not Max so the only member "bucket" that they would belong to is HGVClub Legacy.....which has the option of annual HH conversion but they bought after April 4, 2022.

Can any new owners after April 4, 2022 that bought into HGVC via the resale market, let us know if you have the option of EOY or annual HH conversion?

I have never converted to HH points, and don't see myself doing this in future, so this won't impact me. However I hate when they keep adding layers of rules and exceptions, it just makes things more complex and confusing for people that do want to use that feature.

Someone on FB just commented that it works off the deed date. So, a buyer buys the resale deed directly from the owner and inherits the purchase date so it is before the April 4, 2022 cut off therefore are HGVClub Legacy and should get the annual conversion option. That would make sense because our resale do show the original purchase date.

But, what happens if someone buys a resale Maui that has the original purchase date after April 4, 2022? It is still resale and the buyer didn't buy from HGV so they would not be in Max.
