HGVC?

I want to purchase a fixed week at San Luis Bay Inn. I will likely use that week most years but may trade out occasionally. I have Worldmark and we like to take short trips on bonus time. We live in Napa CA.
It is confusing to try and buy the correct ownership. Points, floating week, HVC, HGVC.
What should I be looking for?

I THINK SLBI is Diamond, aka HVC, so you'll get more help if you put HVC & SLBI in the title instead of HGVC. And get it moved to the HVC forums.
I THINK HVC has an "Americas" collection & SLBI would be in that. I never owned anything in Diamond, and not planning to, so I don't really know, esp about fixed vs pts.

I don't know the answer, but I have also been looking. Weeks seem like the main option, but maybe they convert. Prices seem all over the place. Tri West seems like the best I've found.
