We are considering an exchange in late 2016 for a 3 bedroom here.
I have a few questions:
1- what bed configurations did you see for a 3 bedroom? I called and they said it was either a dedicated or lockout. The RCI description says 8 (8), and lists king, multiple queens, sofa bed(s).
2- what does the 1 in 4 mean exactly?
3- Would it ever be worth doing an ongoing search for May 2016 3 bedroom after the bulk deposit has already gone in? When it first hit, we were focused on Disney and didn't realize we could deposit so far ahead. My sister-in-love's birthday week was less than20 TPU for a 3 bedroom but is long gone now.

Thank you!

The Hilton Hotel website (becuz HGVC is also bookable as a hotel) has good descriptions. For Seaworld 3BR, it says: "The master has a king-sized bed... The second and third bedrooms offer one queen-sized and full-sized sofa bed and the other offers two queen-sized beds. A separate living area features a queen-sized sofa..." OTOH, if it's a lock-off, that means it's a 2BR+1BR connected. See the webpage below.

This webpage has descriptions + photos: http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/fl...t-seaworld-ORLSWGV/accommodations/suites.html

"1 in 4" refers to a rule imposed by some resorts which says that you may only exchange into this particular resort once every four years. You can still exchange into other HGVC resorts in Orlando during this time.
.
An OGS could work as cancellations may occur. HGVC members can cancel or change without penalty up to 30 days out.

Other questions about HGVC may be better addressed in the HGVC-Hilton Forum.

1. I'll be there in a few weeks staying in a 3 bdrm lockoff. I was told all 3 bdrm units have a king bed in 2 bedrooms and 2 Queens in the other bedroom.
2. 1-in-4 means you can only exchange once every 4 years.
3. I haven't a clue. Good luck!

We stayed there a number of years ago (2006?) in an older building on the 3rd floor. It was a 2 bedroom-not a lockout, yet 2nd bedroom had a little mini kitchen that included a microwave, mini fridge and sink area. Kids liked it for making their own popcorn and having their own snacks and we liked they didn't have an outside access door. We had requested a unit with 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom because the RCI description said there were multiple configurations. Nice, central location to both Disney and Universal. The pools were beautiful and they had a lot of kids' activities-at the time they seemed reasonably priced. They thought the movie theater was really cool. Screened porch was a great place for breakfast. Parking at night was a bit of a walk. Traded in on a blue 3BR Christie Lodge week maybe 6-9 months ahead of time. Staff was very friendly and we did go to a sales presentation of Tuscany that was not as hard sell as a number of others we have been to. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.
