Does anyone know when the renovation project is projected to be finished at HGVC at Karen Ave?

I'm looking over the 2012 fees and the Reserve Fee has gone up again (although slightly).

Here is a look at the past 4 years:

2009 Reserve $178.00
2010 Reserve $178.13
2011 Reserve $227.99
2012 Reserve $233.70

I thought the renovation project was scheduled to be completed in 2011? Anyone with any insight?

In a post I made last April the word was work was to begin in August this year. They were putting finishing touches on the model unit and I got a tour. This is what I noted then: Lots of cherry wood cabinetry, more modern furnishings and appliances and solid surfaces. The small closet and adjacent dressing bench across from the jacuzzi tub is now going to be one large continuous closet. Showers are improved, and the sink fixtures are these funky stylish things which appear in fancy places now and again. Over all it's very nice.

What I didn't note is they tend to work on a floor at a time and there are 13 floors (I believe). I'm betting it will take close to a year to get it all done, maybe faster given the economy and lack of construction work generally in the town.

Thanks for the quick response. I knew the improvements were going on and they are impressive compared to what they replaced.

In 2010, the owners letter that came with our annual MFs indicated they were in the 2nd year of a 3-year renovation project. They discussed that is why reserve fees remained elevated. This year's letter discussed more changes in 2012 to the lobby and common areas coming. So I'm left to assume the reserve fees are high again (relatively) to finish this part of the project. I'm hopeful they will drop some in 2013, but the letter was quite vague other than pointing out MF only increased 1%.
