HGVC Kings Land
Have been lurking this forum for a while and never had a reason to post until now. I currently own eoy 12600 points at Kings Land. Just bought 12600 annual Kings Land for $7100 + $2038 for 2020 fee reimbursement with free closing on eBay. 2020 points are included. We have been going to Kings Land since 2012 and wanted to increase our ownership there so Home Week booking was an option. Looking at ROFR.net this looks cheap for Kings Land, anyone care to speculate if it passes rofr?

I don’t know if it will pass, but now us the time to try. There have been some deals that wouldn’t normally pass that have been. Good luck!

I agree with dayooper. There is no better time than a pandemic to get timeshare purchases through a ROFR.

Wish you luck, great deal.

I will vote that it passes, but do agree now is the time to try to slip it through rofr process.

Just hope you bought it from a reputable seller! Who was it?

I have bought from that seller before. No issues. Smooth transaction.

Seller was Timeshare Warehouse. Only had positive reviews, so hoping for the best.

anyone knows what happens during ROFR period? is Hilton trying to resell these at their timeshare presentations? Do they really buy back inventory?

The only reason for HGVC to exercise their ROFR is to sell it again retail for a high dollar amount. Since there is no such thing as a “used” timeshare the retail buyer end up thinking what they bought still has the new car smell.

HGVC typically looks for premium deeds to buy back with that primarily being platinum weeks. With the pandemic HGVC may not be as active with ROFR so one might get a great deal that passes.

I just received notification that my 9,600 point purchase at HGVC Boulevard passed ROFR. I purchased it for $9,000 not including any of the fees. It is less than $1/pt but not as low as

I feel really good about the purchase price and the low MFs.

So, who knows it might get through. I imagine your odds are better than ever right now.

Yes it did close but took until November. The title company was not very good at proactively communicating but they did respond promptly when I contacted them. With travel shut down I wasn’t in a huge rush for it to close so probably wasn’t pushing them as much as I could have. Will get it into ROFR.net

Thanks for confirming; glad it went through for you!
