Building upon @zerocylinders excellent post from above :
and GT comment: assume each unit has 50 useable weeks, to allow for maintenance
112 x Studio garden view = 2 units inventory every week
80 x 1 Bed/1 Bath = 1.5 units every week
187 x One bed/two bath deluxe = almost 4 units weekly
142 x One bed/One bath GV w/ pool - almost 3 units weekly
104 x One bed/One bath with rooftop pool - 2 units weekly
124 x One bed/One Bath deluxe with rooftop plunge pool - 2 units weekly
145 x One bedroom / two BA ocean view - almost 3 units weekly
28 x One bedroom / two bathroom ocean view and pool - not even one unit per week
112 x One bedroom / two bathroom deluxe ocean view and pool - 2 units per week
132 x Two bedroom / two bathroom garden view and pool - 2.5 units per week
45 x Two bedroom / three bathroom ocean view and pool - one unit per week
This is rough, but what is interesting to me was how “easily” I got a 2BR. I do wonder if the 1) high points requirements 2) appearance of limited inventory and 3) call-in requirement discourage people from pursuing these units.
I further speculate that owners of Crane may not use their home week every year because they can get more vacation as points. May be a flawed assumption but possible.
i believe I could have booked a 1BR or more 2BRs when I called in today (for Prez week)- without walking either of those. I booked a 1BR last week when I was practicing and I didn’t call in with an atomic clock.
This may be an example where if we are willing to splurge the points, we will be able to get the reservation. I only sighted Garden view units, which is not surprising considering the quantities.
Interesting.
Best,
Greg
