HGV Zihuatanejo

There is no code as such. One can get from the lobby which is on the access drive to 1 level above the pools by golf cart. Then there is a 1 floor elevator to pool level, although there are a few steps afterwards, about 5, up to the adult pool. The family pool doesn't have steps.
From there, there are some steps to go down to the beach (about 30).
One can ask to be put on the lowest level of building 7 which has a ramp as well as steps to rotunda level (and then elevator down) and has a 2 bedroom (no view) and a 1 bedroom on the main floor, that is the best location for someone wanting to avoid stairs. Or ask for the bottom level of building 1, right across from the lobby. They are pretty accommodating and if they can make it happen, they do. Otherwise, lowest level of beachfront (BF) has the least steps once one is at one's room.
To go up, once again, one takes the elevator and then calls for the golf cart on the next level at the "rotunda" which is at the foot of buildings 5 & 6.
It's built right into the face of a "cliff" so really not a place with real "accessibility".

You'll be able to get references at check-in for scuba etc (they make sure anyone referred is reputable).
Thanks. Do they offer discounts for activities? Are they actively offering HGV Owner Updates?

No sales presentations at all. They haven't had any for over 15 years. You're not going to get any HH points there, lol.
There may be discounts for some activities they endorse but no one has mentioned such to me (but then I don't scuba/snorkel/fish etc).
There's some events like Taco night, BBQ night and Seafood night with meals served near the pool or on the beach. The restaurant (Acopio, one floor below lobby) is great for breakfast especially, with very reasonable prices. Bugle hour at the adult pool (3:30 - 4:30pm) offers discounts on the drinks & has a special menu for drinks/prices.

Coffee is our most important meal of the day … what kind of coffee pot do they have? Do we need to bring filters? Thanks for all the help.

I agree with you so I always bring my own coffee maker with pods. This morning I started to panic because the coffee maker didn’t turn on. I checked and it was plugged in. I eventually found that a GFI outlet had tripped so all is well now.

They're changing the Proctor-Silex to new ones with a thermal carafe - not sure if it's done yet but if not you can get filters by asking at the lobby (free). They're cone filters.

This looks awesome. Is it safe in surrounding area?
Quite safe, although we generally don't go from Centro to the club on foot in the dark. We do walk down in the daylight but I guess going back up the hills is more effort so we always take a cab. We do walk on the beach at night, no problem. The police station is just around the corner from the club. It's not like the usual resort town (Los Cabos, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa). It's very small and doesn't have large resorts (or really any, except smaller ones on La Ropa beach). There's a place called Casa Que Canta $$$$ (Hilton) close by (not on beach), and a Thompson $$$$ (Hyatt) on the beach but they're small.Lots of restaurants on the beach and close by as well (without going down to Callé Adelita or Centro).
