what are the points for the new HGV Diamond resorts vs the historic HGVC resorts? For example a Gold two bedroom at Sea World is 5,000 (old) or 8,000 (new). What would the same two week Gold at Sandestin cost?
HVC properties? There is a reference guide that shows their points for each season and unit size. You could compare the HVC Mystic Dunes in Orlando to the same season and unit size to SeaWorld. Sandestin is being rebranded to HGVC not HVC but who knows how they will work. If they are in HGVC, then probably similar point requirements as the other HGVC properties.
yes Sandestin is being called HGVC but when you talk to the folks on the phone they say you can't book it as a HGVC owner. They say it is a HGV resort and you must be MAX. So what I want to know is what does a Gold week in a two bedroom cost in points for Sandenstin?

HGV is the overarching organization that has three collection of resorts; HVC, HGVC, and bHC.
So far, the Embarc properties, which Sandestin is one, isn't in any but rebranded to HGVC... And not bookable in Max. They are still trying to figure out the Embrac properties.
They say whatever to make you buy more. Don't listen to anything salespeople say. I mean it: all they say is false, because when you sign papers, you acknowledge no other representations are made except the ones in writing.
I have realized that the Orlando people don't always know either. They tell you what they think is the right answer and there is no penalty for being wrong.
