Hetitage Club Sport Season - Best Trading Week?

I have a quick question - I purchased a week at the Heritage Club in Hilton Head - a Sport Week (Late March - mid Jun and End-August through End-October). I was wondering if there are weeks within that season that would make for stronger trades than others? I know the Aug-Sep period always carries the chance of hurricane season impacts. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks.

Week 22 - the last week of your Spring season - should be the best trader. You can check it yourself. Go to Interval International, click on "Search the Resort Directory" and then find your resort. At the Heritage Club page, click on "Travel Demand Index" on the right side of the page. Then compare the relative exchange demand for the various weeks in your season.

I would imagine either the week of the PGA Verizon Heritage tournament or the week that contains Memorial Day weekend.

Of the two, I would think the week of the golf tournament would have a higher demand.

Perhaps, Bill, but the mid June week shows up with highest demand - higher than either of the two you mention - presumably because many schools are out by then, allowing familes to vacation there.

Most likely scenario is that the best weeks are already booked for 2009.

I would do as Dave suggested and look at the demand index chart on II's website. I would then call Marriott while the chart was in front of me and book the strongest trading week still available and deposit it with II ASAP. Try to stay a minimum of 6 months out from today's date as well or your II trade value may be diminished.

Recap: Book the strongest week more than 6 months away.
