Hello, my two resale gold weeks finally hit my interval account:cheer:, and I need to exchange one of them, as we will not be able to use the week reserved. However, when I go to ”Exchange” then “my units”, it shows the MVC where I own my three weeks, but it doesn’t show me which week is which. I’m afraid to click on them, as I don’t want to accidentally deposit the wrong week! So how do I see which week is which(with their reserved dates for next year)?
Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

after you click you enter the details of checkin date and reservation number. Just make sure you enter the correct info for the week you wish to deposit

Okay, so I can just click (deposit???) on any of the units, then I put in the check in date and reservation number for the week I want to exchange and it will bring up the correct week to then put into the exchange system? It’s just confusing right now as a beginner because each week looks the same, even though one is platinum and the others are gold. I appreciate your help!

Correct. Clicking deposit doesnt just do it. You will go through several screens of confirming the correct data prior to completing the transaction.

Will it allow me to request first to see what is available or do an ongoing search, or will I have to relinquish my week when I deposit?

You can do a request first for an ongoing search, or do a search to see what is currently available using the existing confirmation information, both without actually depositing yet. Or you can deposit first. You have both options available to you.

If you just want to search and not deposit you click vacation exchange not deposit unit. Once you have done the deposit that action is final and cannot be reversed.

i just deposited the week, but I only requested Marriott properties…I’m depositing a ncv, so isn’t it free for me to exchange into another Marriott? And can I add other properties at a later time or am I locked into what I choose now?

Its only free if its an enrolled week. If its a resale week that is not enrolled you get a discounted Marriott to Marriott exchange fee of $164. (assuming you do not add any non-Marriott properties to the request.) If you add a single non-Marriott property to the request then full exchange fee of $219 applies, even if you ultimately confirm an exchange into another Marriott property. For the purpose of exchange requests Marriott properties include all the Sheraton/Westin/Vistana vacation club resorts as well.

You can add or remove properties from your request at anytime.

And can I add more properties and dates later?

Yes you can edit your request at anytime. (I think if nothing matches by 60 days out the request is cancelled and the excahnge fee refunded.)

One more question(I think! Thanks for your patience?)…when adding the dates requested, is the last date the last date of travel or the first date of the last week requested? For example, if I choose Mar 2-9, will it give me only weeks that check in on Mar. 2 and 3 (for the week) or would it also look at check ins for March 2, 3, 8 and 9?
