Help needed Coby Kyros Tablet---how to load Aldiko books

I bought my wife a Coby Tablet----I played around for a few hours---didn't get too far.

It's tough getting used to; that happens when I first use ANY new electronics technology.

I'd like to download some e-books; the path is apparently via 'Aldiko'; but I am having REAL difficulty figuring anything out.
I somehow got a free Shakespeare novel on there while I was testing it out---now I can't seem to do anything but see that book on the shelf.

Any suggestions?

If it's similar to my Droid X Android phone which also runs Aldiko, you copy the .epub files to the sdcard into ebooks/import and then choose the Import option in Aldiko.

I think you got sold a bill of goods with that "tablet". There's a reason the kindle, nook and iPad are so popular. The iPad does cost considerably more, but it's clearly the best working and most easy to use tablet that I've played with. As soon as the iPad 2 comes out I'm going to get it.

Don't know how else to help - the specs show it's running Android 2.1, so all you have to do is get .epub files into /sdcard/eBooks/import and then you can import them into Aldiko.

Aldiko is an excellent eBook reader - I really enjoy reading books on it with my Android phone and would never consider paying the exorbitant Apple prices for their over-hyped, over-priced, proprietary hardware/software.

I thought you made wrong choice. I gave Galaxy tab to my wife and it is awesome device. She is so happy
