I have been a member for the past year, but just finally figured out how to register for the BBS. That should tell you something about my computer skills:) I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum. I have read so many of your posts that I feel like I know some of you! I am at Newport Coast Villas right now and have a spectacular view of both the golfcourse and the ocean thanks to TUG. I look forward to participating in your conversations.

funny so are we at NCV!

Our view looks out over the ocean. Called a week in advance asked for a high floor, ocean view and near the main pool and got it all, yipee! Did tie die at the pool with the kids. Had a great time so far at the SD zoo, Legoland and Seaworld plus the beach. who cares about June gloom when it is 99 degrees back home with high humidity.

Well, Hi, guys! Glad you're having such an enjoyable vacation. I hope you get together while you're there. It's always fun to meet fellow tuggers. Have a great time.

Welcome to TUG now you must visit the many fine t/s resorts on the East coasts.

Thank you

...for the nice welcome. My husband and I are here without our kids for the first time in 13 years! We are really enjoying ourselves, but I have to admit, I keep thinking about how they would enjoy all of the amenities!

Pedro, we will be in New Jersey at Fairway Villas for a family wedding in August and hoping that Hilton Head will be our next stop so we are definitely looking forward to the East Coast also.

In what buildings are you staying?
Where is the construction progress?
How are the new wrist bands for the pool working out?

Oh, I wish we ere there, we won't be there until the end of the month.:D

We are in the 4500 building. It's a little out of the way if you have kids with you that want to go to the pool, but the view is so beautiful.

I have not noticed how far they are in the construction process, but they told us that this building just opened in April. The villas are very roomy. I feel kind of guilty because there are only two of us here.

We have not been at the pool as much as we would be if we had our kids with us, but I'm a little disappointed because I do not see many people actually wearing their wristbands. No one seems to care. If they are going to implement policies like that, I wish they would uphold them.

This has been a great trade for us. I just traded in here about a month ago with a Grande Vista Efficiency!

Keep us informed

We will be staying for 5 days at Newport Coast Villas starting on June 26th (we accepted one of those discount rates if you agree to attend the sales tour).

I've spent a lot of time in the Newport area over the years, so I recommend that you spend some time on Balboa Island and take the ferry from there over to the Pennsysala. You can also take a boat tour of the harbor, or rent your own small boat.

Let us know what you do and what you enjoy - I'm always looking for new things to do in Newport.

Best part of all - We get to see our grandkid in two weeks - YEAH!!!

Enjoy your vacations.

OK, I know this would not be everyone's cup of tea, but yesterday we went to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and it was very interesting if you are into that kind of thing:wave:
