Hawaiian Music, add some if you like

Last one and one of my favorites, Kalaupapa with Hula.

KPOA coming through again with new music that I immediately purchase.

When I was at the U of H in 1975, I would go to the student lounge and check out a Cecilio and Kapono tape, lay down on the couch with headphones and just zone out. LOVED them! I always wondered what happened to them in later years.

We love staying at the Waikiki Outrigger, we love eating at Duke's, and Henry Kapono is just the icing on the Hula Pie.

Here's an epic collaboration.

Jake & Mick started a new group. We saw Jake in Lahaina years ago and I was really surprised by the songs he played on the ukulele which were his versions of old songs.

Just attended the Seattle Slack Key Festival yesterday, Jeff Peterson and others. Big Fun.

2024 Kauai Slack Key Festival in two weeks, I'll be there too!

Good shares erveryone.

Bruno Mars and Rose ........APT... One of my grand daughters favorites and probably a big hit. It's a catchy tune and I'm only saying it's Hawaiian because of Bruno being from Honolulu and Rose looking like she could fit in anywhere Oahu, imo.

Jake Shimabakuro..........Friend of the Devil........... While on the Lahaina waterfront at the Pioneer Inn bar having beverages Jake was playing background music. It started as Christmas background music and then he smiled at us and played this.
