“Hawaiian Airlines has announced the expansion of its service between San Francisco and Honolulu.
In October, the carrier is moving up from two to three daily flights between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). The new nonstop route will be flown using the Airbus A321neo aircraft.
The new addition will be an overnight flight, leaving Honolulu at 9:15 p.m. and arriving in San Francisco at 5:30 a.m., and the new return flight leaves SFO at 7:30 a.m. with a Hawaii arrival of 10:10 a.m.
"We are delighted to offer our Bay Area guests another option to experience our award-winning hospitality on the way to Honolulu aboard the comfort of new Airbus A321neo aircraft," Brent Overbeek, senior vice president of revenue management and network planning, said in a statement.
Hawaiian Airlines began flying to SFO in 1986, and services 500,000 guests annually to Hawaii from the Bay Area from its network of flights departing from SFO, Oakland International Airport and San Jose International Airport.”
