We own Diamond Resort points. I am considering trying to rent a week that we have [specifics deleted]. Diamond says it will cost us $25/day for parking and wi-fi, etc. Looking on redweek I see about 20 listed for Kaanapali Beach Resort. Many of them are for the rest of the year. Several say they have free parking. Curious how they can do that, both list for rest of year and offer free parking.
[I see on Redweek where 20 or more places are listed fro rent at Kaanapali Beach Club. Several are for rest of year. Curious how they can do that. We have a week in October we got with Diamond points which we are considering renting.
Wyndham Founder; Disney OKW & SSR; Marriott's Willow Ridge, Shadow Ridge and Grand Chateau; Val Chatelle, Pines at Meadow Ridge and Twin Rivers in CO; Hono Koa OF (3); SBR(LOTS), SDO a few); WKORV-OFC-4 and Westin Desert Willow.
So Redweek owners are probably fixed week owners? I don't know what the answer is. I know RCI exchangers have fees added, too. Maybe these owners don't know about extra fees and are advertising without, which means unhappy customers.

Regarding your question, my guess is that the people with the Redweek Ads:
1) Are offering to make a Reservation - they don't actually have the whole year reserved
2) Don't know about the parking fee
One more note - October is about the slowest time of year in Hawaii. It will not be a strong rental.
Funny, this is similar to HHV's parking situation. It costs us members $24/day to parkk while staying at the TS. If you are a hotel guest, the rate drops to $10/day. How is it that owners spending thousands of dollars to put in Hilton's coffers get charged more than visitors staying a few days? Don't understand it...
