I was just wondering if I wanted to exchange my Timber Lodge Marriott into Marriott Ko'Olina, would my chances be better by locking it off and try matching a one bedroom and a lockoff and then ask Marriott to combine it into a two bedroom since there's more one bedrooms and lockoffs around? I was thinking for Easter or in June.

You could try it, but it would cost you more and there's no guarantee that the one bedroom and studio would be matched together (side by side).

I'd stick with trading the two bedroom for a two bedroom and hope for the exchange goes through as planned.

If you need a two bedroom, you need to deposit your two bedroom and request a two bedroom. Marriot will not put the two rooms back together. I went through this in January.

i tried doing the 1bd + studio together in dec...they would not budge as the two were different views. that entire week, the studio adjoined to our 1bd seemed unoccupied.
