We love Road Trips. We are going on one this Spring to Southern CA stopping a number of places.

Us too on road trips. We stayed at resorts for the most part in Southern CA. We did stay at the Hilton Spark in Santa Nella coming and going on one trip. Santa Nella is basically a gas stop with some restaurants and hotels. We stopped in Santa Nella because it was a bit over 6 hours from Palm Springs and the Running Y.

I know hijacking the thread. Over the past couple years our Road Trips have been:

1. Salem to Spokane (1 night) to Canmore (7 nights) to Birch Bay (7 nights but left after 4 nights) to Salem.
2. Salem to Windsor (2 nights) to Bass Lake (7 nights) to Solvang (7 nights) to Windsor (3 nights) to Salem.
3.Salem to Reno (2 nights) to St George (7 nights) to Santa Fe (7 nights) to St George (2 nights) to Reno (3 nights) to Salem.
4. Salem to Reno (2 nights) to Las Vegas (2 nights) to Bison Ranch AZ (7 nights) to Tuscan (7 nights) to Las Vegas (1 night) to Reno (3 nights) to Salem.

Our upcoming Road Trips are:

1. Salem to Windsor (2 nights) to Carlsbad (14 nights) to St Luis Bay Inn (7 nights) to Windsor (2 nights) to Salem.
2. Salem to Vancouver BC (7 nights) to Canmore (14 nights) to Vancouver BC (4 nights) to Salem.

Last year we went on a loop through Wolfs Creek Idaho, Pogosa Springs Colorado, Taos New Mexico, Sedona Arizona, Angel Camp California , Klamath Falls then home. With side trips we were about 4,800 miles. We did about 4,000 miles this winter going to Southern California on a couple of trips so far this year. We have some more southern California beaches trips planned for this year.

I can tell you are getting some miles too.
