It seems, if I'm not mistaken that Starwood has not put additional layers on some of our properties, to increase the amount of Staroptions necessary to stay at a particular resort. I'm comparing an earlier schedule versus the 2009 that has been released. Am I wrong?

Nope, you're right. Sort of. Search the forum for 'devaluation' (there have been some changes in middle seasons at a couple of resorts).

I didn't think they could do that legally.

It's one thing to devalue the Starpoints for the hotels, but these are creating less value within the timeshare area, where we specifically have rights, and have paid for those rights.

I think I'm going to have my attorney look into this. I will get back to anybody interested with what I have found out. Thousands of voices would work better with these guys than one lone voice.

Save yourself some time and energy they are allowed to make those changes.
"Q: Could the StarOptions value of my week change?

A: Yes, StarOptions valuations are reviewed annually.
..."From FAQ on Mystarcentral it is also in my docs.

Thanks for the heads up. Wish I would have found this forum way back when. I own a full year at WK, every other year at WKN, and every other year at Princeville, all at developers prices.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger - most of us on this board have at least one developer purchase (Me = WKORV )

There are a couple of polls at the top of the board that you may find interesting and I hope you will do the polls, too.

We have a lot of info. to share, and this is a very nice bunch of folks to chat with, so I hope you will stick around and post a bit! :hi:
