Has anyone had experience using an actual lawyer (not a timeshare exit company) to get out of a timeshare via arbitration?

I have a similar situation, (a close relative bought a timeshare with HGV and I'm helping them trying to get out of it) and found this thread helpful. I was reading on the timeshare laws and was told to look into anti-deficiency laws. I wish I could understand all the legalease, but I'm having trouble and thought asking here would be best. If the timeshare location is in FL, do anti-deficiency laws apply there? I feel like that would be an easy way to get out, but think that places like HGV have already thought of something like this and closed this door.
Take a look at the 3rd linked thread you quoted in your post.
Florida is summarized in the 1st post and a few other places in that thread.

I have a widowed friend who claims her lawyer husband got someone out of a timeshare and is the only one to have done it. Lives in Pennsylvania

My attorney wife has had timeshares removed under bankruptcy situations, but not as a way for otherwise financially sound people to 'get out' of a TS obligation.
