...that require a 90 minute presentation? Some of them look very tempting (point and experience wise) but I was wondering just how high pressure the presentations are for these? (Are they moreso high pressure than usual presentation, longer, yada yada...) If anyone has any experience with these and could share, we would appreciate it!

Are ownership events different than the "updates" they ask you to attend when you check in? If so, I have never been invited an ownership event.

They're really not any different. We did one in Palm Springs last year. Found it no different than the usual pitches offered when you check in. That being said, in the last 10+ years we've only attended 3 or 4 pitches/events/whatever. We don't usually care about what they're offering because we'd rather just enjoy our vacation, but the owner event things are a little different since its like getting a little discounted vacay for sitting through their nonsense for 90 minutes.

Thanks Shoeie! We have done many regular presentations, just wondered if these were any different, but my guess is that it probably depends on the sales team at the location. They look to offer pretty good point value in some cases (did you find yours to be so?) if not in other cases...
To mbstn6254, you arent Specifically invited to the owner events, you pay for them with DC points, (usually a discounted rate) and they include an event (concert or show or tour) in the area. You see them/navigate to the offers - after logging into Vacation club and going to ’Use Points’, in the far right column at the bottom, labeled ‘Exclusive Owner Events’.
