I am 72 and my H is turning 80 in Jan. We are still traveling but feel that will come to an end sooner than later. None of the family want the timeshare. We have a week in Port o Call every other year and in the 26 yrs we have owned the week we have been there only once as it trades well and has value in that. Maintenance is about 1200 every other year. I received something in the mail from them about converting the ownership to a term ownership but hesitate to speak with them before knowing more. I googled it and it seems that they promise to sell your week and then you buy a term ownership but that does not sound like a conversion to me. Also, google said they then dont sell the initial week owned and people have been stuck with paying for 2 ownerships. Just wondering if anyone has spoken with them about a conversion and if this is true. I might just as well sell on ebay for 1$ or post here for free .. I have seen the marketplace and there are hundreds available so not so sure I would get rid of it so easily.
