The waterslides were walk-on this week too, we have waited :60 or more during holidays
Service has been good, we had an issue with our shower not draining and it took a couple of calls but they fixed it
We found that if you want a choice of where to sit this week at Atlantis, get there by 9-9:15, cruise ship guests with $100 one day passes start to fill in after that and most locations filled by 10. Security was at many access points to look at key cards to keep cruisers out of the hotel. During holiday weeks filled up by 8:30
They also need to find a better way for the cruisers to change clothes, LONG line at the lockers.
Tonight Cafe Martinque and comedy club, we were going to go to comedy Tuesday but at 9:25 they told us it would be tough to find 4 seats together. That is a first for us.

ugh! The conveyor belts are not working to take you to the top of the towers? We will be there starting may 4th for 9 days.

sorry for mis understanding, i meant there was no waiting to get on the slides, everything was working.

Today was humid and overcast, with no crowds, strange weather this week

There is also a new wristband system. You swipe your card, enter your room number, number of wristbands, it then prints out the wristband behind the desk and they apply it. The wrist band is dated with day as well as last name. We are with another couple that have their own account, we swiped my card and put in 3 on the first day, but there are only two of us and it said we exceeded our limit, please re-swipe.

Comedy club was fun and we actually won some money in the casino. One guy, a table over had 2, 4 of a kinds within 20 minutes playing let it ride, each win was over $2000.

We leave tomorrow :(

Phew! I misunderstood.

We are leaving Maui now and the weather was unusually windy for the last 10 days. Yesterday was the first day it was not windy, and today it is perfect! Oh well, at least I'll be in the Bahamas in 7 days! :)

No in-unit wi-fi, but Ethernet port is alive. Our unit was right by the pool, and could not catch the signal with ipad or iphone. I brought my travel router and the wired speed was nice and steady at 5/5 mbps.

The pool loungers have been replaced by the Harborside pool. Just like over at Atlantis, no more canopies, but lots of new umbrellas all around. I think they are an improvement because they give you more shaded space to put things down or stand and apply sunscreen in the shade.

Beach has been replenished. Not sure how it is at the waterline, but there's more sand there now than there was two year ago.

Other changes I noticed from last year:

1. Villa safe has been moved from closet to TV console drawer in the living area.

2. New wristbands: I think this has been mentioned on another thread, but you now get personalized wristbands with a name and date printed on the band. I think all Atlantis guest are getting these now, except Cove or Reef which still have their own colored ones

3. Elite check-in window.

Just got back last night...
The old chairs from Atlantis pools are being placed down on the Comfort Inn beach...
Cove and Reef still have pull up canopy chairs on the beach ...
Harborside has only has 1% of the units left to sell..when they sell out ,sales departmet will become a rental compay for the owners ....
Wi-fi works in lobby ,but you still have to pay to be connected...
Service in the restaurants is very Slowwwwwww ,every one knows they get 15% no matter how you are treated... even being rude if you ask for somethig ,we asked for a cup of ice for the coke they brought us , we're still waiting...then they ask for more $$$ for tip ..what a joke !!!
