Thanks for the reminder!
Some may remember this from a brief thread on Cincinnati in July.

"Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement!
"Not since the Hindenburg tragedy has there been anything like this!"
"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!"

Thanks for sharing.

This just came up a couple of weeks ago when I was talking to my 17-year-old son. He thought it was funny hearing about it. Now he'll get to watch it. This episode has always stuck in my memory. Very funny.

That really IS a scream! I've forwarded the link to our SIL who is expecting us for the Holiday next week. Thanks!

The whole episode is available on Hulu.

Yikes, I am old enough to remember that episode when it first aired!

It is the only episode I remember of the show. It's hilarious. Thanks for posting and giving me a good laugh and a good memory. :)

Yep. WKRP in Cincinnati is on my list of all-time favorites.
For a long while, I had a crush on Loni Anderson, a/k/a Jennifer.

A good laugh/good memories of WKRP! Thanks for sharing.

Loved that show! Whenever we are in Mt. Adams and drive by Jennifer's apartment building, my hubby always says, "There's where Loni Anderson lived in WKRP!"

Funniest thing I have ever seen on TV

I too am old enough to have watched the original episode and I remember falling onto the floor I was laughing so hard. It is still funny but I have seen it enough since to have lost some of that magic. I still think it is probably the funniest thing I ever saw on TV.

I was a Baily Quarters (Jan Smithers) fan.

When Mr. Carlson and Herb come back all tattered and torn with turkey feathers on them, my eyes started watering because I was laughing so hard! :hysterical: This was one of my favorite shows back when it was on the air as well. Thanks for sharing!

Kurt

Still laughing...........

Comedy classics !

Thanks again.

Have reposted my favorites on the other thread.

Thanks for sharing this, Steve. WKRP was one of our favorites. So funny all the time. Where are those writers now??????

Yes, this is one of my all time favorites...and I remember watching it and laughing with my parents who have been gone for many years now.

Thanks for reminding me of a very happy and funny memory!
