Happy Aloha Friday

We are on our way to Lost Wages today for the NASCAR race, and an RCI exchange at the Grandview, which is where we like to stay. It is at the end of the strip next to the South Pointe Casino, which offers lots of amenities and restaurants, so it's convenient. It's already very warm in LV, and we hope to get out and do some walking/hiking too.

Our flight has been delayed 3 times this morning, but at least we are at home and not at the airport yet.

Happy Aloha Friday!

The Twin Cities has already had some nice, almost spring like days, but that's about to change. Last night when we went to bed, the deck chairs were circled around the table. This morning, strong gusts had blown all of them into the corner. Fences and billboards got blown down. Saturday night and Sunday blizzard like conditions are forecast with up to 12" of snow. Spring is close, but it's not here yet.

Aloha from Sunny PHX...
90s looks like our new 'normal' for March this year...
Anticipate 107 or 108 as a high next week :-(
Can't imagine our July & August at this rate...
Grateful for our HGVC & WM TS's so we can escape to cooler coastal California for our brutal summer... (& likely April/May/June & Sept/October shoulder seasons which are getting fairly warm for us too...)
Mahalo!

Happy Aloha Friday!!! March is flying along and it's staying wet. More storms going through this weekend.

This week's picture keeps us here on Molokai but takes us over to the West side and to Papohoku Beach. Papohoku Beach is huge and there is usually hardly anyone there to share it with.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!! 🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. Earlier this week we had a couple days in the 70's. Now we are in for a couple weeks in the 50's.

Happy Aloha Friday!

Last Friday our deck was clear. By noon Sunday it looked like this and it was still snowing.

Tomorrow's high will be 75. Yesterday I managed to get a picture of the campfire circle in a local park before the snow melted. Minnesota March Madness indeed!

Happy Aloha Friday! We’re having a normal spring day weather-wise, low humidity, lows in the 50s, highs in the 80s, very pleasant. Roses are blooming as is the cherry honeysuckle, and the trees are leafing out. Hopefully I’ll be able to move tender plants back outdoors next week. If only this weather could last year round!

Happy Aloha Friday from HOT Las Vegas. We are flying home from LV this evening, and we are leaving triple digit temperatures behind! The western states are in the grips of record setting hot temps.

Happy Aloha Friday.... I can tell its sping here because the robins and dove are back. Weeds are popping up everywhere. The one nice thing is no dust on the trail. Just a little mud, lol.

Happy Aloha Friday from Upstate South Carolina. Lows in the upper 20s and highs 40-50. Today near 70, next 3 days in mid 80s before dropping back into the 50s on Tuesday. If you don't like the weather today, wait a day or two.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! It's the last Aloha Friday in March so here comes April. Things are starting to dry up a bit here. It will take a while for all the dirt and rocks to be hauled away from the roads but it's coming along.

This week's picture takes us over to Kauai and over to Ninini Lighthouse that overlooks Nawiliwili Bay. This 86 foot concrete tower was built in 1932 and it replaced the 34 foot wooden tower that was built in 1897. You can't go inside but it's worth checking out the next time you are in the area.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha Friday!

Usually we go to Poipu in the winter. In 2021 we didn't get there until August because of COVID. I never realized until then that the trees along Ala Kinoiki road bloomed in the summer. No wonder that they're called Rainbow Shower Trees.

Happy Aloha Friday from Coastal Virginia. We were planning to go Hale Koa, Oahu next month. But between the TSA problems, and the recent health issues of some families members, Things are just up in the air right now. But today is Happy Aloha Friday. Please enjoy this day and everyday you open your eyes.

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. I have mailed my request for my Father's Canadian Birth Certificate to Regina, Saskatchewan. I also mailed a request for a Certificate of Canadian Citizenship based upon a variety of Records including Catholic Church Records, Border Crossing Records, and numerous other Records. Once I acquire the Certificate of Canadian Citizenship I will apply for a Canadian Passport. Once I acquire my Certificate of Canadian Citizenship at least 2 of my 3 children will apply for Certificates of Canadian Citizenship. My son with Kids will also apply for his 3 kids.

Our favorite Whisky (Sullivan's Cove, Tasmania) has once again won Best Whisky in the World at the 2026 World Whisky Awards in London. It was a Single Cask aged in a French Oak White Wine Cask. This is the 4th time in 12 years. In 2014 they were the first non-Scotish, non-Japanese Distillery to win this Honor. We actually prefer their Double Cask which comes from French Oak and American Bourbon Casks.

Happy Aloha Friday. Its cold mornings and cool afternoons here. These pics are from our ride home from Oceanside CA.

Happy Aloha Friday from Upstate South Carolina. We started the week with overnight lows in the 20s. Last night 58 and today predicted in upper 80s, before dropping back to the 60s tomorrow. Beautiful blue skies. Have a great day and a relaxing weekend wherever you are!

Happy Aloha Friday! We had our house (in N CA) painted, and he just finished yesterday. Our house is Mediterranean in style, so we chose some lighter Mediterranean colors. Our entire neighborhood is in dull grays and tans, and I wanted something fresher and lighter. I love how it turned out!

We are having the same painter paint our kitchen cabinets, and he started today. We have (25 year old) dark cabinets, and we are changing them to white (Swiss Coffee.)

Turned out awesome!! I love the color. It really fits the style of the house. 🤙🏻

This is my current "redwood brown" kitchen that we are painting white. I will post another picture when it is complete:
