It's going to be a hot one for us but should be a good one. I hope you all have a good one too.

We are timesharing in Missouri. Brought my mom from St. Louis. Great way to celebrate the 4th! Enjoy the day!

I'm home - going to do my own Fireworks later on... super excited. Also looking at my rock tumbling (maybe a craft video)...

Anyway HAPPY 4th everyone as well! Fireworks! BBQ!

My wife's aunt who is in her 90's is the family historian. This side of the family enters America during the Colony period as the Hitchborn's. Paul Revere was the son of Deborah Hitchborn and both men are part of my wife's family tree. LT Robert Hitchborn was a known member of the Son's of Liberty and led a group in the Boston Tea Party. He was a LT in the Massachusetts Militia. He is also one of America's first Veteran.

I didn't know this until this very cool old aunt posted this on Facebook for the 4th of July. I asked my wife and she said she has known this since she was a child. It's interesting the things you learn about some one you know well after 50 years.

My wife's real name is Paula. She never used this name in the past. It was only when we needed passports did she start using her real name. Today while talking about her family tree, she said that her real name is Paula , named after Paul Revere. It's a popular name with the members of the Daughters of the American Revolution. I did not know this.
