Happy 31st Birthday to TUG!

Happy Birthday and Congratulations to TUG and to all TUGGERS that have supported and that have enjoyed this website.

So the fee to join TUG has never changed? I see it was $15 way back in '98.

Some people they should probably charge double...:)

yep, been $15 since it began! my dad never raised it and I wont either!

In another 30 years, that $15 won't even be enough to buy a candy bar.

the real downside to never changing the fees is the transaction fees for a $15 charge, its nearly 10% at this point (roughly $1.30 total) for these small transactions.

the personal assistant item has been extremely popular, who knew so many people would want to pay to have someone to talk to about their timeshares!

I've done several of these via my YouTube channel and online course. I am also surprised by the number of people who sign up and then never take advantage of the consultation they paid for.

I remember when every item at TacoBell was 19 cents. Our Family of 5 could go out for dinner for less than $5.00.

and now a dang cheese quesadilla is 5 dollars! this annoys me to no end because my kids cant be convinced the cheesy rollup which is only 1.50 is just a rolled up quesadilla!

(cant bring myself to order much anything else on the menu there...that food doesnt have the appeal to me it once did)

$5.00 dollars at Taco Bell now will get up a soda and a Taco.
Tuggers, we do not eat at Taco Bell and we do not like Mexican food. LOL

I used to really kinda enjoy TacoBell, till I realized I can get some 93% lean hamburger from Sam's Club or Wal-Mart and some Taco Seasoning from there too, and tortillas and "mexican cheese" plus some of the Taco Bell "fire sauce" in bottles now from Amazon etc... Now I basically can make it fresh at home 95% of what I liked (turned out to mainly be "fire sauce" and seasoned ground beef lol). And it's probably cheaper that way.

I get PMs all the time from the TUG Facebook group. I offer some help but usually tell the folks their questions are better posted on the group (even anonymously if embarrassed) so that others can learn.

nothing wrong with that at all, and they get the benefit of even more owners chiming in with thoughts/advice!

"it takes a village!" =)

Congratulations on 31 years of TUG! I’ve been a member since the dial-up days! So much information to share and great advice.
Me too!!! On the old BB system. Fern Modena told me to join. I found her when searching for information on the Imperial Hawaii back in 1993 or 1994.
