It was a Hilton when we first stayed there, and the parrots George and Grace would greet guests as they checked in.

We stayed there in 2011, not a Hilton then. We loved it and the location though. We stopped at Don the Beachcomber in May. Their Mai Tai's rank very high on my list. shaka

It's the the Sheraton Waikiki pool area at night. The picture before the Sheraton pool area is the Royal Hawaiian in purple. Both pictures were taken on the rocking chairs at the Sheraton.

It is a lovely stop on the drive from HNL up around to the north shore. Beautiful, peaceful property and a jewel on that drive up to the shrimp trucks and beyond. Really recommended- just off the road and there is a park nearby.

I have been beyond sad at what seems to have happened with the flooding and the north shore and sincerely hope it is not as bad as it sounds.
