Went for an owners update in Myrtle Beach today, the second “closing” agent was wearing Gucci loafers …$1000 minimum … just saying…

This is actually rather disgusting.

How much did they give you for that "update?" Marriott/ Vistana give more money/ points. If they offer 40-50K points, I am in! Wyndham doesn't invite me anymore because I am a former "mega renter."

Stayed at La Cascada over the holidays and back here today all via RCI exchange s. They didn't invite me either. During the last stay of two weeks, I saw lot of prospects come in for the sales spiel
I guess I am not a good candidate. It can't be past history as I have never owned or attended a Wyndham presentation.

You should see the parking lot at Bonnet Cree and Governors Green sales centers. Your cornucopia of sports cars and luxury cars. Somebody's buying.

Timeshare salespeople seem to have a perceived image to conform to to be successful. Big talk about how successful they are, where they've stayed, cars, shoes, watches, jewelry, clothes, tight skirts/dresses/tops/pants, cleavage, etc.

Meanwhile the smart person is looking at them thinking I'll keep my money in my pocket or spend it on myself and my family before I'll pay for your look/lifestyle. Spend $30k-$50k to support you and your image or spend $100 to several k$ to buy resale for several hundred thousand more points or even a million points? Not a hard choice.

Did they belong to salespersons or prospective buyers? (predators or prey)?

I get a kick out the salesmen with top of the line shoes and no socks.

BTW, my BMW* was in the GG sales center lot last Friday. We had a nice chat about most everything except Wyndham. In fact, I had to kind of interrupt the conversation to ask a question about Wyndham (which was not answered because he didn't know).

*2018 X3 M40 with 93K miles. Not exactly luxury.

Yes, these mouth breathing knuckle draggers love to claim they got their Rolex watch with all the money earned renting out their "ski weeks." Not ripping off the unsuspecting and elderly.

Parked away from the sales bulding, in the outer parts of the parking lot where "the prey" don't usually park, so, likely the "predators".

Both the locations I mentioned also have reserved parking spots q little closer to the entrance, signed for various "high performing staff". No Honda civics or Kias in those spots.
