Hello All, I was contacted by the Accor Resort and Hotel company to purchase my VIP GOLD Membership with 711,000 PTs. So now I have contacted by an Attorney in Texas that will help me through this process. The name of this Attorney Firm in Dallas is BOBKER LAW ASSOCIATES, 2626 Cole Ave suite 300, Dallas Tx 75204 Ph: 972-528-5393. Jessica Bobker Chavez, Attorney at Law?? Attorneys@bobkerlawassociates.com

I’m not convinced this Law Firm is a lajit law firm at all?? How do I go about how to check this law firm out

It if a cold call, it is a scam.

Why do you want to waste your time checking out a scam?

An old scam, easily identified by the cold call and big offer for a timeshare that is otherwise worth $1. Another clue is that the website was only created on July 30, 2025.

Edited: More clues this is a scam.
1. Address is a virtual office. Monthly fee as low as $75.

2. Phone is a VOIP line meaning they can be calling from anywhere. In this case, most likely Mexico and could be the cartels running this scam.

Smarten up. Your pockets are going to be picked dry in this well known scam.

Cease communication with them immediately. At some point they will want some "upfront money" to help you out. You'll pay them and never hear from them again while they're vacationing on your dime!

You can always contact the Texas State Bar Association to check on an alleged Attorney. Also in most States it is against the law to practice law without a license.

Except is some cases the scammers will steal the identity of an actual attorney. In this case, there is an attorney with the state bar of Texas by the name of Jessica Bobker Chavez. She has been a licensed attorney since 2001. The scammers stole the name to make it appear to be a legit attorney.

The Texas bar website has an option to
message the attorney directly from the state bar website. The OP could do that to hopefully convince themselves that this is a scam.

Chances are actually pretty good that they would hear from them again. Scammed once is easy to scam again. They keep coming back for more with the promise of getting all the money back and finally getting out of the timeshare too.

NO ONE will cold call you to give you money! Get involved with these people at your peril. Watch your wallet.

EDIT: The listing on the TX bar website is devoid of a lot of details for this attorney including the website. It says they are unemployed and not seeking work. Admitted in 2001. Website was created last month.

The listing on the TX bar website is deviod of a lot of details for this attoWould be funny if a bunch of tuggers called the firm to vet them. I know you are out there.
Not a lot of details but one detail is that she is not actively working as an attorney.

“Occupation: Unemployed: Not Currently Looking For Work”

The OP needs to face some facts. First, you cannot transfer your Gold VIP to a buyer, so that is off the table. The 711,000 points is probably not worth much. For example I purchased 640K points in Kona, HI for around $400.

Here's an account of an experience I had when I decided to go down a rabbit hole to see how it worked.
Most important, I was able to contact the real lawyer who had had his identity assumed on the internet.
It was eye opening.

@Golfhead has seen some of these post and has not responded since their first post with a lot of detail including number of points, names, address, phone number, and email address.

This is 100 percent a scam. Nobody calls you to buy a Wyndham ownership. Nobody. You will start getting asked for upfront fees, etc. You will never see any money.

You'll pay them and never hear from them again
Oh, he'll keep hearing from them and others as they keep asking for ever-escalating upfront fees, asking him to throw more good money after bad.

Yeah, this is someone who almost certainly is not actively practicing law. Lots of people have law degrees, and even maintain admission to the bar, while working in other fields. This scammer just stole her identity.
