I’ve been told by a family member who went that there is a pretty good stock of groceries in the CVS across the street but they didn’t bother with a car for that trip. There is probably a near by Publix.

They're an excellent option to consider using anywhere in the USA.

There is a Publix at the Galleria approx 3 miles away, and another perhaps a mile or so further down N Ocean Blvd.

When I travel I use maps.google.com to find restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, etc.

Just plug in where you're staying and then click on "nearby" and type in grocery store. It will give you a list and show the location on a map. You'll find more than you would think.

There is a very nice Publix 3 to 4 miles north of BPT on East Sunrise Blvd…

CVS is very very expensive.

I did that and didn't find any grocery stores that I recognized, other than 7-11 (which I don't consider a grocery store) and something called The Market, so I decided to ask on TUG. I now realize I didn't expand my search area enough.

On 17th St. Causeway you will find Publix and Whole Foods, probably about 3 miles away.
On Federal Highway also 3-4 miles away you will find Trader Joes, Winn Dixie, Publix, Whole Foods and a Target.
So there are plenty of options.

There is a Costco about 10 miles away
Adjacent to the Freeway
South and West of Beach Place Towers
Only about 10 Minutes past the Larger Publix and Winn Dixie which are on Federal Highway

I had groceries delivered from Publix. The driver met me in the parking garage. Was very easy. Will definitely do that again.

We had groceries delivered from Publix and the driver delivered them up to the lobby when we were at BeachPlace in January.
